The project was envisaged as a new medical college wing, of approximately 25000 Sq.Ft. with four classrooms of 300 seats each in Phase-1. A Possible extension to the same as part of Phase-2. The entire project was proposed to be completed in a time span of 6 months with interiors, starting from green field set in a campus area of approx. 68 acres on the way to Mantralayam from Raichur, (Karnataka) for the prestigious Navodaya Educational Institute.
The concept revolved around the central grand staircase connecting the ground to first floor set in a double heighted grand porch flanked by tiered horse shoe shaped seating classrooms on either sides. The class rooms are a grand space with ample light and cross ventilation creating the most apt ambience for a perfect learning experience.
The open / semi – open corridors allow the utilitarian spaces to interact and comprehend more freely with all the embracing scheme creating a set of fluid and easy connections between the spaces.
The overall building elevation is bold in expression with a rose gold shade that blends with the surrounding landscape to create a distinctive charm creating an everlasting impact on the student’s mind of the institute and the memories of their alma mater.
